The walk
We got up around 7:30 AM and went to have breakfast at the restaurant. After that, we went for a walk in the park. During the walk, we stopped at one of the more luxurious hotels, where we noticed there was a swimming pool.
So after lunch, we went back and spent the afternoon at the pool, playing games and sunbathing. After a few fun hours—and getting quite sunburned—we were ready to leave for Rubirizi for the second bootcamp.
After driving for about one and a half to two hours, we arrived at our hotel. Once we had put our luggage away, we were picked up to go and eat something with the ten Ugandan students who had come with us from Mbarara.
When we returned to the hotel, some of the students started feeling unsafe, so the teachers decided that seven of the girls would go with them to their hotel, while Thijs and Pieter stayed with us at our hotel.
