Safari

We got up very early because breakfast was already at 6 AM, as we needed to leave early for the safari. It turned out to be a very successful safari, as we encountered a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, and much more.

Within just five minutes of starting our drive, we were thrilled to spot our first lion. Later in the day, we witnessed three lions lounging in a tree—a truly spectacular and unforgettable sight.

By midday, we returned to the restaurant for lunch. With some free time on our hands, we enjoyed looking through the photos we had captured during the safari, reliving the morning’s adventures.

At 3 PM, it was time for our second safari. This one took place on a boat along the river, which made it a completely different experience. We spotted a variety of animals. However, nothing quite matched the delight of watching elephants play in the water.

As evening fell, we gathered around a bonfire and played Werewolves with the Ugandan teachers. The game was unexpectedly interrupted by a family of elephants wandering nearby, adding to the day’s excitement. After a fun night of games, we retired for some much-needed rest.
