The lakes

The morning followed the same schedule as the day before. After the energizing games, we received some explanation about what the day would look like and what was expected from us.

After that, we went to the business to collect everything we needed because that day we would go out and sell the products until lunchtime. It turned out to be very successful. By lunchtime, we had total sales of UGX 81,000. This consisted of 4 cups, 3 glasses, 11 phone holders, and 1 pen holder. In addition, we also received an order for 12 placemats, which were not included in the total sales.

After lunch, we first had a group discussion with everyone. During this discussion, the business owners shared their experiences from the past few days and talked about what they had learned and what we had sold.

Later, we walked with all the students to the Twin Lakes. Afterwards, everyone returned to their hotels to freshen up, because later that evening all the Ugandan students and teachers came to our hotel for a big meal.

It was a very fun evening, and we also celebrated Manasseh’s 50th birthday. After the celebration, everyone went to sleep.
