The lakes
The morning followed the same schedule as the day before. After the energizing games, we were given a clear overview of the day’s agenda and what would be expected from us.
Next, we headed to the business to gather all the items we needed, as it was our day to go out and sell the products until lunchtime. The experience proved to be a real success. By midday, we had made total sales of UGX 81,000, which included 4 cups, 3 glasses, 11 phone holders, and 1 pen holder. On top of that, we received an order for 12 placemats, which were not counted in our total sales.
After lunch, everyone gathered for a group discussion. The business owners shared their reflections from the previous days, discussing what they had learned and reviewing the sales we had made.
Later in the afternoon, the whole group walked to the Twin Lakes. Afterwards, we returned to our hotels to freshen up, as that evening all the Ugandan students and teachers joined us for a big meal at our hotel.
The evening was full of fun and laughter, and we also had the pleasure of celebrating Manasseh’s 50th birthday. Once the festivities had concluded, everyone headed off to bed.
